When I worked at the Denver Auraria campus print center back in ’02, a woman came in wanting 100 color copies… off of a gray-scale source.
***headdesk***
She COULDN’T understand that a color copier can only make color prints from a color source. She thought that if she put a black and white photo into a color copier it would magically get colorized. When we weren’t able to accommodate her request, she threatened to call the police and sue us.
She was a college professor.
