Intervention Con This Weekend!

Wednesday, September 8th, 2010

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen events (like a car accident), I will be unable to attend Intervention Con in DC this weekend.

But that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t go! Considering their extensive (and impressive) guest list (HAWK FROM APPLEGEEKS!), and that the current developer of ComicPress (which I am known to use exclusively to publish this here comic) will be holding workshops on ComicPress and WordPress at this Con, I would put it on my must-attend list. ..And I want to go.

Stupid car accident…

Anyways! I will for sure be attending next year, and I have my marshmallow guns purchased and prepped, and it will be fun for those who don’t wait for me to get there.

Hooray!

UStream Channel

Tuesday, September 21st, 2010

One of the reasons I have been slacking on the comic-ing is because I’ve been working on a commission piece for the lovely ladies at 21st Century Moms (who have been wonderfully patient despite repeated program crashes). I decided Ustream wasn’t as scary as I thought, so I set up a channel so some of you can see what I’m working on – and I recorded most of my sessions.

It’s interesting to me to see where/how I draw, as well as how random bits disappear from my work. Either way, enjoy:
