Hello, my name is Emily Lysyk. Emma is my nickname, and you may call me either. I've been around computers all my life. From our Tandy 280 at age two, owning my very first PC at age 6, making little cartoons from clipart at age 8, to coding at age 12 and making art since before I can remember, it's no surprise that I became a graphic artist. Em²a came into being my freshman year of highschool, but didn't come into her own comics until my freshman year of college. She's an extension of myself, my "inner redhead," if you will, and my outlet for thoughts, funny comments, responses, and general keeping track of stuff that happens in my life. I laugh that some people have diaries, but I have a webcomic. I currently am a graphic artist in the marketing department for a study abroad company, and I also do freelance layout design work for Corner Web Studio. I am currently pursuing a degree in digital animation between projects, and hope to one day take Em²a into motion.
